The Fourth Forum on Financing for Development, convened by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), was held in New York at the United Nations Headquarters from 15 to 18 April 2019. The objective of this annual meeting of the international community was to take stock of the progress and challenges of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda on Financing for Development and to produce recommendations to accelerate the financing of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda on sustainable development. On April 8 and 9, local governments and their national associations from 7 countries attended the workshop to Enhance their Capacity in Localising the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This was co-organized by UCLG, jointly with United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG ASPAC), LOGIN Asia, Development Partners Network on Decentralisation and Local Governance (DeLoG), Asian Development Bank (ADB) and hosted by the National League of Local Councils of Cambodia.
