The survey for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda is now available!

Since 2017, United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) has been reporting every year, on behalf of the Global Taskforce of Local and Regional Governments, to the High-Level Political Forum of the United Nations (HLPF) on the role of local and regional governments (LRGs) in the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The next report will be presented in July 2022.

We need the support of LRGs and their  associations: Please fill in the Survey!

Your support and answers will be critical for our collective progress as well as knowledge and experience sharing so as to truly advance the localization of the 2030 Agenda and its crucial SDGs.

You have until April 1st to complete the survey online! Through the link above you will also find a downloadable file that you can use as a guide.

A better recovery from Covid-19 and a full implementation of the 2030 Agenda

The 2022 HLPF is going to address the theme “Building back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. Our survey and report will focus in particular on highlighting local and regional governments’ contribution to a more sustainable and just recovery from COVID-19.

Have you implemented inspiring practices related to the localization of one of these five SDGs?

Share them with us through the survey!

  • SDG 4: quality education

  • SDG 5: gender equality

  • SDG 14: life below water

  • SDG 15: life on land

  • SDG 17: partnerships for the Goals

For our European members only: European local government associations and local and regional governments have already received a similar survey sent by the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) and PLATFORMA in February. If you did not receive it, you can also access it through the following link. Please make sure you only answer the European survey, and only once.
