On Thursday 28 November 2019, the Decentralisation and Local Governance (DeLoG) network organised a webinar on the World Observatory on Subnational Government Finance and Investment.
Isabelle Chatry (OECD) presented the main features of the state of local finances in the world based on the Observatory’s 2019 Report. Serge Allou (UCLG) developed some recommendations for future action, including how to make progress in the production and management of financial data and the strengthening of fiscal decentralisation in the least developed and developing countries.
