Call for contributions to the V World Forum of Local Economic Development

Call for contributions to the V World Forum of Local Economic Development

In order to consolidate the messages of our local and regional leaders on the theme of local economic and social development, the document "Key messages from local governments on local economic and social development" was presented in the UCLG World Summit in Durban, last November.

Thus, looking ahead to the V World Forum of Local Economic Development that will be held in Córdoba (Argentina) from 6 to 8 May 2020, this document, aims to encourage reflection around three main axes of content:

1. The territory as the basis of social, economic and environmental innovation.

2. Territorial economic and productive models to deal with inequality.

3. The future of work and the work of the future from a territorial perspective.

In this final stage of the document elaboration, we share a simple form through which we would like to receive your latest contributions.

It is proposed to discuss, provide ideas, concepts and proposals to the document contributing to the process of reflection and commitment of local governments with sustainable economic and social development where no one is left behind.

We expect to conclude the document definition through this participatory process, and we encourage your contributions through this form before 02/07/20.

If further information is required or you would like to send other comments or suggestions, you can contact the Technical Secretariat of the Local Economic and Social Development Committee at [email protected]
