This is an initiative by the World Clean Up Day, and international NGO that UNDP, through the UN SDG Action Campaign is collaborating with.
This year, they are running a global campaign on cigarette butts. It is a type of waste that is the most numerous, but it is also un-recognized by many. You can read up on cigarette butt waste here and find campaign materials here.
