International Migration Review Forum

10-13 May 2022. New York (United States)

In the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, Member States decided that the International Migration Review Forum will serve as the primary intergovernmental global platform to discuss and share progress on the implementation of all aspects of the Global Compact, including as it relates to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and with the participation of all relevant stakeholders.

The International Migration Review Forum will take place every four years beginning in 2022. Each edition of the International Migration Review Forum will result in an intergovernmentally agreed Progress Declaration.

The IMRF will consist of three elements: four interactive multi-stakeholder round tables (RTs), a policy debate and a plenary session during which the Progress Declaration will be adopted.
